Staying flexible.

We are going to Corsica in April and don't want to pre-book accomodation. Will we have a problem just turning up at a place expecting to find a room for the night?

Would not have thought there would be much of a problem. Possibly you should avoid the smaller villages with just one hotel, but the larger resorts with several hotels should have vacancies in April. St Florent L'ile Rousse, Calvi, Porto, Cargese, Propriano, Porto Vecchio etc should al bo OK. Try the tourist info offices.

We've just done the same and found it easy enough although we didn't always get our first choice of hotel. However, one thing to bear in mind is that some smaller places might not be open so early in the season.
