paris- brussels/amsterdm train

I am arriving in Paris next week, from Canada.

ANy advice on train travel from Paris to Brussels and possibly Brussels to AMsterdam, finally return to PAris to fly out????

Is it cheaper to buy the point to point tickets here? over the internet? or just at the train station in PAris???? Any tips???

We were looking at the eurorail passes but it does not seem economical for 2 countries 3 tickets??????

Hello,

For Brussel and Amsterdam by train, you have the Thalys.

www.thalys.com

To find the better rate, you have to reserve in advance.

You can try (practice) a booking using www.sncf.com

If you can get "Smilys" fares (round trip/no refunds/no changes) those are discounted. But seats are limited, may have to try different departures. Entire ride, Paris-Amsterdam, is 4 hours.

Compare the price of a round-trip full-fare ticket (in the event no discounts are left) to the Benelux Rail Pass.

Single traveler / 2nd class / $163

Two travelers / 2nd class / $122 each pass

+ express mail charges
