July flight...

Has anyone recently booked a flight US-Paris-US for mid-July that's under $1,000? Husband has July 8-12 biz trip; I'm thinking of going with him, but so far the fares I'm seeing are way above $1000.

Thanks!

I've only seen USD 1200 flights from your corner of the world on both mobissimo and kayak.

Good luck, at least you can fly from the east coast (diretly?) and not have to change flights, adding to the cost. Sat on prices of $1300 last fall from the midwest, thinking they'd go down, finally bought at $1500 and now they are about $100 higher than that. I needed a certain airline and an exact flight, though, as some airs were mileage points. $1000 probably isn't a bad price for summer.

I'm in the same boat. I've been watching for a few months. The best fare I have found is out of BWI - USAir - through kayak.com, has flights to CDG for $1088.00 I'm still watching, but I don't expect it to get much better. REmember, thought, if I am correct, that includes almost $300.00 in taxes. So the real ticket price is around 800.00.
