Taxi or Other way to get from hotel to airport

We need to get from our Hotel (Regina -- near the Louvre) to CDG.

Should we just get a taxi called by the hotel, or is there a better way to do this?

And how long she we expect it to take from the Louvre to CDG on a Monday morning around 10 AM?

THANKS

Call Taxi G7 the day before to arrange for pickup:

Approximately 1 hour (maybe less). Plan on being at CDG 3 hours before your scheduled departure.

There are 3 cheaper ways of getting to CDG from the city centre. Air France runs buses from the top of Ave Carnot, which is one of the avenues branching off from the Etoile (Arc de Triomphe). They usually leave on the hour and half hour and stop at Porte Maillot and then each of the terminals at CDG. €14 one way. Terminal 1 is the last drop off point and takes about 10 minutes extra to get to. In good traffic you will get to Terminal 2 in about 30 - 40 mins. The second bus is Roissybus which goes from behind the Opera. I haven't used this one so can't give departure times or cost but your hotel should know and its probably a little cheaper that Air France. Either way you can get a taxi to drop you at the bus from your hotel. The 3rd option is to get the RER (metro/suburban train) Line B from Chatelet Les Halles to Terminal 2. Be warned that Chatelet Les Halles is the worst and most confusing metro station in Paris and at the other end its staion is at Terminal 2 so if your going from 1 that requires another bus. On the plus side you don't have to worry about traffic. I used to take the RER, now I always use the bus.
