Paris 2 day itinerary .. suggestions please

Bonjour ! Very excited to be in Paris next weekend ...

Day 1 : Take the metro to the Eiffel Tower first thing in the morning, stand in line to get tickets (online sold out). After the Eiffel Tower, take a RATP bus (recommendations needed) to the Louvre. Spend a couple of hours in the Louvre (suggestions for must sees with a 5 yr old boy welcome). Then walk across the Jardin des Tulieres, Concorde and Champs Elysees (or is this a really long walk ?). Take a bus (?) to the Arc de Triomphe. Anything else we can do along the way in that area ?

Day 2 : Use the Batobus as the mode of transporation. Cruise along the Seine and see the Notre Dame, Jardin des Plantes. Looking for other recommendations for Day 2. The last order of the day is to return to the Eiffel Tower by Batobus for a night view.

Does this seem doable ? Thank you very much.

If you are only going to spend 2 hours at the Louvre I would strongly suggest you do a guided tour (provided by the Louvre). They will take you to the major "must sees" which will save you a lot of time. Check out the Louvre official website. The guided tours are not expensive. We were so pleased we did it.
