The best place to kiss in Paris

Where is the best place to kiss in Paris?

I do know that you can kiss here, there everywhere. Even with your eyes closed. But I think the ambience can also play an important role.

In my last trip with my wife we tried different places, even so, we could not reach a conclusion. I do think we should keep trying. Here some of the places of our list:

Pont Neuf – classical one

Montmatre – to obvious?

Footsteps of Effeil Tower – nice...

Angelina Cafè

Frankly, I think you may be missing some of the '..romance potential..' of Paris. While it may be exciting to kiss the Pont Neuf, Angelina's or the ground in Paris, you and your wife may find kissing each other more pleasurable and potentially rewarding.

Living and learning!

More than sound advice on trips TA is also the place to find the greatest comedians in the world.

Anyhow, I presume, each poster gives his/her best.

Thanks a lot anyway

The kiss itself is the romantic thing, the spot doesn't really matter in my opinion.

Well I guess it depends also on the weather, honestly, a kiss on a windy bridge under rain by 2°C cannot be romantic to me. Nor can the steps of the trocadero, with 5000 people standing around taking the same pictures, be.

Then again romatism is such a thing that gets 6 billion different defintions in our world, so I'd say it is there where she expects it the least, enjoys it the most and embarrasses her the less!

But if you really want one spot in Paris, it would be the suite at the Meurice overlooking the Jardin des Tuileries and to take KDK's thought to the end it might be much more rewarding ;)

I'd definitely avoid the usually crowded Angelina just like any of those touristy spots.

Other than that, anywhere is fine as long as you both feel comfortable with it.

But then, it depends of what kind of kiss you're thinking of...

I don't know, maybe it's me, but there's something unintentionally hilarious about the title of this thread....

There is actually a guidebook on the subject by Parigramme presse.

This is one of the few titles that they publish in French AND English.

phread,

Thanks a lot for the hint.

I have already ordered it from Fnac.

For those that may be interested in the subject, the title is "The Best Place to Kiss in Paris" by Thierry Soufflard. But you will not find it at BD&Humour Section at Fnac.

Cheers!
