Aloha from Kaua'i!
Well, getting "down to the wire" as they say - now I've got to actually try on some of the clothes that I have laid out to put in my suitcase (I've been buying them all summer, but haven't worn any!).....just to make sure everything "works" and I don't overpack!
Have to say a huge "Mahalo Nui Loa" (thank you very much) from here in Hawai'i - you all have, almost without exception, been kind and helpful to me in responding to all and sundry questions that I've posted here thru the last months before my trip.
Some of them silly, some of them hopefully not - just about every single person responded helpfully and with good grace and put up with my ramblings and enthusiasm - which I"m sure can be grating!
So....off to the "City of Light" - and still pinching myself that it is really happening! Tonite we will be on our way and we will get to Paris on Saturday morning at 6:30am - I'll be able to start my Saturday morning in Paris - watching the sun come up as we wend our way to the City - I know that we will have an amazing, magical time - even more so than my first trip last year - and I think that would be hard to beat!
Summer will be turning into Fall while we are there - so I'll be able to say that I've visited Paris in the Spring, Summer and Fall after this! Looking forward to trees with leaves, flowers, fountains running and just.........Paris!!
Merci beaucoup - you are all the best and I appreciate your help more than I can express here!
Promise a horrendously long Trip Report when I get home!!!!
Malama Pono (take care)
