Nice hotels in Le Marais

I'm looking for some suggestions for nice hotels in the Le Marais district of Paris. My wife will be spending 4 nights in Paris in May and based on our research the Le Marais area seems like a great area to be in. Our budget is around € 190/night, but obviously we'd be happy to pay less.

Thanks!

Hotel Amour isn't at all in Marais district as requested by OP. And, frankly, I'm not too sure that I would like to stay in this hotel (which is anyhow above OP's budget).

Popular neighbourhoods often get "stretched" - is this map a fair definition of Le Marais?

Yes, iverh, it is (although, personnally, I would shift it a bit south, i.e. less Republique area in the north and almost going to the Seine in the south - for example rue St Paul -down to rue des Lions- should be included).

Thanks for the feedback thus far. What does it mean when the booking site says "Towels/Linens at surcharge"?

Oh, also what does "EUR 1 city tax per person per night is excluded" mean as well?

I thought that Hotel Amour had been suggested as a joke, considering the OP's username.

This is very nice, quite close to St. Paul Metro.

Spending extra for towels does not sound right to me.

It means that the 1€ per person per night tax is, as it says, not included. That amount will be added to the other charges.
