4 adults CDG to hotel

Can you tell us the best way for 4 adults with luggage to get from CDG to our hotel near The Invalides?? Should we try train, or shuttle??

Any insight would be helpful.

Also, 4 day pass on the metro. Any help there?

I should urge you to avoid shuttles. They are basically used by tourists only and their reliability in Paris is not what you may find elsewhere.

To les Invalides, I would strongly recommend your taking a taxi from the taxi queue but steps from the baggage claim. Expect to pay 45€ to 55€ plus 3€ above the metered fare for the 4th (and subsequent passenger) and 1€ for each bag places in the trunk after the first. I tip from 3% to 5%.

for 4 people taxi is the only sensible way to go -- it is only slightly more than public train transport and is reliable -- from Orly, it is actually cheaper to take a taxi for 4 than use public transport

just get a taxi in the queue

RER tickets will cost you 40€ from CDG to Paris. A taxi will cost you no more than 60€ but you will avoid the hassle of handling the luggage in a crowded train and through the stairs when changing lines.

For 4 people, take a taxi - it won't be much dearer and so much more convenient.
