Air France bus - seatbelts

Does anyone know what kind of seatbelts are on les cars Air France, i.e. lap-and-shoulder or lap-only? (We're still debating taxi vs. bus and this is one more data point.)

Thanks.

I believe it is lap only and French law does require your wearing it.

Usually the bus/taxi choice is one made from a cost or accessibility standpoint. This is the first question to my knowledge about adding seat belts to the equation.

Me too, Sarastro. I've taken the AF bus several times, depending on my travel circumstances, and although I would never get in a car at home without a seat belt, I can't remember if there was one on the AF bus. I know I didn't use one.

If you do take a taxi, trust me, you will WANT to wear a seatbelt!

I have used seatbelts in the paid shuttles, they are vans.... but I do not recall ever wearing one on the AF as it is a large bus...

Les cars Air France have a lap belt on each seat - I have used one myself.

Thanks everyone. We have a variety of carseats to choose from for our kids and some are better than others for dealing with lap-and-shoulder vs. lap-only belts. It just helps to know what to expect.

Seatbelts are obligatory on all coaches.
