3. Re: feel paris

I just rented an apartment in Marias through Feel Paris. Booking was easy; however, we got lost looking for the apartment and was unable to contact the apartment by text, calling or email. We eventually found the place and was able to check in. Perks: kitchen, washing machine, & getting to feel more immersed in the city. The downsides: the bathroom was small - the shower was extremely difficult for someone over 5'2" tall...I'm 5'10"..., the office was rarely open, advertised wifi never worked, and the walls were quite thin. After this experience, I would be less likely to rent an apartment without confirming regular office hours and the shower dimensions. :-)

Mark H has some valid points to make about Feel Paris after a less than good experience with them,.His comments are of benefit to any TA community member thinking of using this agengy, and fall well within the supposed guidelines that TA originally espoused.

Wasn't it TA's founder who claimed you could come here for honest advice to travelers from other travelers?

So why are his informative posts warning other fellow travelers about this company's shortcomings being systematically removed?

I think it is because he posted exactly the same message many times. This is regarded as spam and is liable to be deleted.

I never got to read Mark's post, but I certainly wondered what he had to say, since every post he made was removed.

Thanks Nick. I saw one, and also saw the high number of "last post by" that had been deleted. And yes, that is spam. For Toutou, there's one here:

Thanks for the link. This seems to happen fairly frequently; a poster tries to pull up all threads he/she feels are relevant to his/her experience and post on them. They do tend to get crucified by other TA posters, whether the info. on their post broke rules or not.

Mark's experience with this agency seems very important to pass on to prospective Feel Paris clients.
