Transport from Arr 2 to Gare du Nord

We will be in Paris for the first time next week and will be going to London after via Eurostar. We are a couple with young children (3 & 7) and luggage. What is the best way to get transportation to the Gare du Nord?

Thanks in advance for any assistance offered.

With luggage and small kids, I'd suggest taking a cab.

There are dozens of Metro stations in each arrondissement. If you want advice on using public transport, you have to give an address.

Since this will be at the END of your stay rather than the beginning, you will by then have a better idea of how you can manage finding your way on the metro with kids and *without* luggage. By the time you've been using the system a few days, you will know how to find your way around and whether it is going to be feasible with luggage or if it is better to order a taxi instead. If you are staying in a hotel, the staff will be able to order one for you. Another option is bus - for example, the #38 goes up Bvd de Sebastopol and finishes at Gare du Nord, could be easier than metro and cheaper than taxi - if you are staying a short walk from Bvd de S, could be a good option for you.

I would say that with kids and luggage make it easy on yourself and get a cab. Most of the metro stations in Paris do not have elevators but tons of stairs. There might be a way on the RER but that too will be a pain and confusing. Bite the bullet and get a cab. Get your hotel to call one for you.
