10 nights in September--2 rooms--need hotel!

I waited too long, I know. But I need to find a hotel with 2 rooms available for 10 nights--arrive 19 September and depart 29 September.

We always look for a central location and there are rooms available but not two rooms for ten nights that I have found so far.

Any ideas? As near the Louvre as possible. Up to $300 per night per room. Clean and safe. Very grateful for suggestions.

Why not a two bedroom apartment? Lots of suggestions on this site at much less money than you are proposing. More room, too.

Thank you but I have tried venere.com and the others.

And I do not see an apartment agency that is well recommended--just problems. If I am wrong, please point me in the right direction.

Hi Alison, for hotels, try www.trivago.co.uk or www.hotelscombined.com - I did a quick search on both sites for your dates and many options came up within your budget. The Hotels Combined site is a little more user-friendly when it comes to finding two rooms but you can narrow your search to be near the Louvre on both websites.

For apartments, have a look at this recent thread.

Good luck!

Those apartments look nice, but when checking the detail, the first indicates "long term rentals only starting mid September" and the other two "long term rentals only starting early September" - so that's quite curious.

For hotels, try Expedia. Enter near "Louvre Museum Paris". When the results display, filter by price range.

There seems to be plenty of availability for two rooms at the same hotel for those dates.

Of course, you'd want double check prices directly with the hotels.

You may prefer two hotel rooms to an apartment, most of which may be somewhat "cozy" for four adults and/or have only one bathroom, also offer less privacy than you may have in mind.

It may be more challenging, actually, to secure an appealing apartment at this late date than two rooms in the same hotel.

At this late date, recommend securing a hotel reservation you can cancel, then continue shopping for something "better" or an apartment.

You may also want to consider splitting up your stay, if necessary.
