Notre Dame Question

We will be visiting the cathedral next week. Are there separate lines to climb to the tower and view the interior? The museum pass covers the tower climb but I understand it does not allow you to bypass any lines. Which entry line do we stand on or is there only one?

Yes, you enter the Cathedral via the main doors in the front, enter on the right, exit on the left as you're facing it. The entrance to climb the towers is to the left hand side as you're looking at the Cathedral, kind of on the corner of the building.

Two different lines. The line for the towers is around the corner to the left as you face the front. Museum pass will get you up in the towers, but will not allow you to jump the line. It's best to arrive early in the morning. It is a terrific view.

To enter the Cathedral, go to the doors on the right as you face it. No pass required, no line jumping.

Thanks......am I correct that when we arrive early in the morning our first task would be to get on the line to the left to climb the tower and we would show our museum pass. . Afterwards we would have to get on another line to the right (no pass required) to get to see the interior.

At this time of year, there is often no line go into the cathedral, only to climb the towers.

You are correct - there normally isn't much of a line for the cathedral, or if there is then it moves very quickly.

There is normally a reasonable line for the towers.

The museum pass won't do you a lick of good for the tower - the tower doesn't take the pass.

it is included on their web site - so what information do you have that it is not included in the PMP?

... but, as many people have said in the past, the pass doesn't allow anybody ahead in the queue.
