We booked an appartment for 4 nights with Houestrip, and after one night we decided to move into a hotel.
We thought that we had booked an appartment, but apparently it was just two rooms in an appartment together with a Host, which we didn't knew. According to the host, this mistake has happened several times due to the homepage of Housetrip, where you think you book an ordinary appartment. And honestly, there was absolutely not help to get from Houestrip, when you are in problems!!!
Housetrip were more focusing on the interest of the host, which had been a profit center for Houestrip for 69 times in total. I did feel that Housetrip considered me as a one time business only. My first and last time with Housetrip. Have any of you been in real problems, where Housetrip only acts as contact person between yourself and the host, without bringing any value? Refound can only happens, if the Host will pay.
