Son's birthday stay in Paris!

Hi All

TripAdvisor Forums: Stupendous!

OK, we arrive around 7am on a June morning after an overnight from the Middle East. It's my son's 10th birthday. We are travelling south to our villa by train the following day, and returning for a 4 day stay later. However, despite being fairly decisive when it comes to most bookings, I am umming and aahing over this single day! All we plan to do is arrange an early check in, sleep an hour or two, take our boys up the Eiffel Tower then meet up with family for a nice dinner.

So, fellow regular travelers, where would you stay, where would you eat?

Cheers all. XXXXXX

Hi,

For hotel and restaurant suggestions, it's preferable that you give an approximate budget (in euros) and say how many you are.

Planet Hollywood on the Champ Elysse or else hop on the train out to Disney

for the day let him run riot in the park and lunch in McDonals then have dinner in Pris near your hotel.

Mum, Dad and two sons aged 9 and 10. We prefer a family room or two rooms connected. Nice if we can get breakfast in the hotel! For the hotel for one night $300 max, for dinner (for 7) say, 50EUR per head?

Thanks!

Perhaps buy the tics to go up Eiffel Tower in advance, on the official website, to avoid long ticket queue.

Can then have dinner in the area, in Le 7ème Vin (traditional, rustic) ..popular and would need reserving, though for a group of 7 it's always best to reserve. Or head to Le Train Bleu that's not formal but has a unique and beautiful decor.

Eiffel Rive Gauche is a hotel near the tower that has quad room and is likely to fit budget, but the reviews are mixed and I've not been in it.

Tourisme Hotel can be a good option, has quads and will probably fit budget.
