Staying in the 1st Arrondissement: Restaurant recommendation

We will soon be staying in a flat close to the Hotel Lourve- Sainte-Anne. Does anyone have recommendations for cafes, brassieres, restaurants in the area that are good but not overcrowded? We are looking for places that are off the beaten path.

Rue Saint Anne is the best place in Paris for authentic Japanese restaurants; Michi at #58 is especially good. Mayebe too much "off the beaten (French) path"?

One in the First ---> http://www.au-vieux-comptoir.com/

And one on the Place Dauphine ---> http://www.larosedefrance.com/

And one brasserie on the Ile St. Louis ---> http://www.labrasserie-isl.fr/ which is especially nice later in the afternoon sipping a drink outside and people watching.

Lescure is a small hike but it is a funky treasure. Tourists find their way there, but only those who get off the main boulevards. http://www.lescure1919.fr/

Lescure has this on the menu...

Le confit de canard " comme en limousin"

What do the last three words mean?

It basically means that it's cooked in the limousin region style. An English menu shows it to be grilled preserved duck accompanied by potatoes sautéed in oil.
