Thanks, GM. If I can't be there I can at least watch the youtubes.
I went to see this and added it to my ongoing La Défense photo report, including a little YouTube video that I made. (at #34 on the report)
Very cool, Kerouac!
Another great report Kerouac 2.
I'd never been beyond the grande Arche and around the SG towers so far. It's on my list now.
Thank you so much for your many informative reports.
Very much enjoyed Marseille, Aigues Mortes, the Petite Ceinture, lately.I've probably missed many others, I guess.
Aerial view of La Défense:
I'm glad you like it. I enjoy doing reports like this because so many people who visit Paris love the city and nevertheless find themselves with the thought "is this all there is?" I like to show that there is a lot more than what is on the internet or in the guidebooks.
" (they)nevertheless find themselves with the thought "is this all there is?""
I've NEVER met anyone who said that about Paris.
You're right....22 years is nothing compared ti Auntie Ker!
Frankly I don't mean to annoy you, but since you are an expat, it is often apparent that you do not have the same vision of Paris as locals -- or the same "fréquentations."
You're not annoying me at all Ker!
I suppose it is interesting for people asking questions to know about the regular posters who are resident and expat (like myself )in Paris , where they come from, how long they have lived here etc etc.
Some are not so easy to guess (Paris9, Paulh...) others have a very Amercian attitide ( Ker, metromole...)
it all helps to offer a varied vision of Paris!
