Tour 13 Paris - Update Required

Please can someone provide an update on Tour 13 Paris in terms of waiting times, opening times and whether the exhibition will be extended?

I'm trying to gauge whether I will be successful in seeing the exhibition or will miss out.

People queuing up between 4 and 7 a.m. have a pretty good chance of getting in.

Mrs_French_Mystique - Thanks for the note. I started a new thread as the one above was drifting off-topic.

kerouac2 - Many thanks. When do the school holidays cease?

I got in line at 9:20 on Tuesday. 7 hours later we were at the sign indicating a 2 hour wait. I had to drop out of line at that point so unfortunately I didn't get to see it.

So a 9:20 arrival would have been about a 6:20 entry. But I expect the lines will only increase as the final day approaches.

I went today. Yesterday the earliest arrivals were at 6am. This morning 5am. Those arriving at 10am were told they had no chance of getting in. Yesterday they were saying there'd be a minimum 9 hour wait, but the security guard thought that was optimistic. The gallery staff is overwhelmed! Here are some photos I took;

phread - Many thanks for the update. I thought it could be an all nighter in terms of arriving in the early hours to obtain a place in the queue.

As an aside, it's a pity that the exhibition couldn't be better organised to allow those who wish to visit the opportunity to attend. This said, I appreciate that there may be health and safety concerns which limits the number of visitors.

There was no way of knowing ahead ot time that this would become a cult event.

Tim, The art gallery that organised this event had NO IDEA it would be such a success. Actually, they are bending over backwards trying to accommodate everyone. They've extend opening hours, and are making the place accessible to the handicapped, too. Its really amazing what they've created!
