Paris end of February???

Is it too cold end of February to enjoy the city and walk around? it's my 65th birthday and wanted to spend it there- any suggestions on weather?? birthday dinner restaurant?? or other special things to do in Paris. THANKS

I'm a firm believer in spending all milestone birthdays in Paris.

There's a better than even chance that it'll be warmer in Paris than in Boston. Go with the same clothes you'd wear for something like First Night here, and you'll be fine. I often visit Paris in the winter, and my secret weapon is silk long underwear, for lightweight easy-care warmth. They double as pajamas as well.

Yes, the temperature will almost certainly be milder than in Boston.

And February is reputedly the very cheapest month to visit Paris for accommodations.
