My fiancé and I are going Europe for the first time for 2 weeks on our Honeymoon. We plan to take a 7 day Mediterranean Cruise that departs from Rome and goes to Florence, Cannes, Palma Majorca, Barcelona and Naples. With that planned, we are trying to figure out what to do with the rest of our time. I would really like to go to Paris. Looking at flights I have found an affordable option that would arrive in Paris Sunday at 7am and leave Tuesday afternoon to fly to Rome. We would spend the night in Rome then travel to the cruise port on Wednesday. We would spend 7 days on the cruise and arrive back in Rome the following Wednesday to spend another night and then leave to return to the US to Miami for the last 2 days of our honeymoon to relax on the beach after the whirlwind trip. Does this schedule seem do-able or would it be too time consuming and take away sightseeing time? The other option would be to fly straight to Rome and spend the time there before the cruise however I would like to see Paris even if it is just for 2 days if it would not be too complicated and exhausting.
