weather in Paris in mid-April

Wondering what the weather is like in Paris in mid-April. Here is the US it is either warmer and drier than normal or much colder and snowier than before. What type of weather is Paris experiencing this year?

There are dozens of web sites that will tell you what the weather has been like in past years, but there is nobody who can say what it will be like in April 2014. Over the past few weeks, the weather in much of Europe has been atrocious.

This year, especially February weather, has nothing whatsoever to do with the weather in April.

We were in Paris mid-late April last year. The weather was generally mild, with a day of very warm and sunny weather (high 70's), a few days of quite chilly weather (cashmere sweater under raincoat), only one day of rain. Someone there the week before we arrived reported rainy, cold, windy, the entire week. But, it could just as well have been the reverse.

You just pack the ubiquitous layers, prepared for all of that, so as to be comfortable while out and about and go about enjoying yourself - indoors when the weather is not so favorable, outdoors when the weather is nice. The flowering bulbs and trees all about are magnificent and beautiful in any weather, as is all of Paris.
