Well, how are you getting to Dorset from NZ? Presumably via London? Have you heard of the Eurostar?

Hi. We are flying into london Heathrow and then driving to dorset to stay with friends for a week, then we need to get to Paris. Will be leaving the rental car in the uk,. Thought maybe getting back to London and then flying from there to Paris but not sure if there is an easier way. thanks for your response

<can any one suggest ways to get from Dorset to Paris?>

Train: Weymouth / Bournemouth line to London Waterloo, then London St Pancras to Paris (by Eurostar) would be one possibility nationalrail.co.uk/css/OfficialNationalRailm…

I made a similar journey myself last August, but to Brussels rather than Paris.

There's direct Eurostar trains from London St. Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord. Takes 2.5 hrs. If you book well in advance you might get a good deal.

Where in Dorset will you be?

There are direct flights from Exeter Airport if you are at that end of the county.

If you are in/ near Poole there is a ferry to Cherbourg( travel as foot passengers ) from where you might hire a car to visit Mont St. Michel and then get a train to Paris the following day. That would be a much lengthier journey but might be enjoyable.

I've no idea what your age has to do with anything.
