Gardens & parks

Seems like there are a lot of wonderful gardens & parks to visit in Paris.

Would love to hear some of your favorites?

I would be happy to visit at least 2 during my visit.

Did you peruse through this?

How long is your visit? If it's less than a week, I would recommend focusing on the two most popular - Tuileries and Luxembourg Gardens...

Yup, it is! parisiensalon.com/2012/…

I also really like the small green square behind Notre Dame. It's a great contrast to all the activity around ile de la Cite.

And the I Love You wall in MOntmartre!

I agree with 3CONILS. All these questions about basic things - easily answered in any decent guidebook.

If you are coming in late May/early June, the roses at Bagatelle are spectacular.

I enjoy the gardens attached to the Albert Kahn Museum. The eight acres feature sections devoted to Japanese, contemporary, formal French, English and small forests. Springtime is breathtaking, with everything in bloom. The cherry trees beckon to me then.
