Romantic trip to Paris

I'm planning a trip to Paris with my partner to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and our birthdays (we're in our 20s). We've both been to Paris before and love it and have decided that the end of September is probably the best time. I'd really like some input as to where to stay as there just seems to be so much choice. I'd like somewhere nice and romantic but it doesn't have to be one of the "typical" hotels. Any suggestions of what to see or do would be appreciated too. We're thinking of spending 5 days, 1 day at Disneyland, but this isn't definite.

In reference to hotels, meaningful responses can only be directed towards a specific budget window. I find some of the most romantic hotels along rue Jacob in the 6th. An internet search with ¨hotels, rue Jacob, Paris¨ will give you their names and descriptions.

One thing you must do is a canal boat cruise. They last under an hour but as many times has I have enjoyed the experience through the years, I am alway ready for another ride along the Seine:
