If I were you I would arrange to return the rental car on arrival preferably in Paris and then just take a taxi to the airport. Having a car will be an expensive hassle those last two days and it is unwise to leave car rental return to just before a flight. If there are delays in getting a receipt that it is gassed etc (and we have experienced very long delays) then you will end up racing for your plane without that receipt and no way to contest later fuel or damage charges. You should be able to drop the car in the center of Paris, perhaps having first dropped your party at the hotel. If you didn't want to do that, you could drop it at CDG and take a taxi to the hotel.
If you stay in Paris you will be putting the car in an expensive garage.Edited: 31 March 2014, 02:19
