Latin Quarter hotel

Traveling Paris in June 2014. We are thinking of staying in the Latin Quarter.

Looking for a hotel convenient to Metro, and in the medium price range.

and close to restaurants, not really in the night life area.

Wow.. you are leaving it a tad late.. thats a popular and busy area.( but there ARE definitely some quiet streets) ..

medium price range means nothing. what actual budget in euros.. we have seen this type of question many times and "medium" seems to mean anthing from 50-300 euros.. so as you can see you need to narrow that down for specific answers.

At this date I suggest you line up at least 3 places you like and see what availabilty they have.

Also.. don't limit yourself to the 5th( Latin Quarter) there are great "medium" hotels in the 6th( st Germain ) and 4th( Marais.) .. and those are just as central really..

Why not consider hotels around St Michel and Luxembourg stations, both have RER service direct from Charles de Gaulle airport. A personal favourite is Hotel de Suez right between the two. Get off at Luxembourg to walk downhill to the hotel, when leaving also walk downhill to St Michel - handy with cases. The hotel is 2 star, ok pricewise and convenient with many central buses directly outside the door. Also easily walkable around Sorbonne, Latin Quarter and St Germaine.
