First of all, thanks to all the wonderful community at TA, I now have a much better itinerary.. here's a rough sketch. and do keep the suggestions going.. would love to hear and make changes appropriately..
Some notes - we have two young kids aged 6 and 4.. We are Indian and I am Hindu vegetarian while hubby is non-veg. Although, we both intend to enjoy the Parisian cafe experience and do not plan to hunt for Indian food.
Day 1 - Arrive at 8 am in the morning. likely to reach home around 11 am. Would rest and venture out at 2 pm or so. have booked eve cruise tickets and plan to see the illuminated Eiffel.
Day 2 - have booked Eiffel tickets at 12 pm. So would leave early and reach there. After Eiffel, can go to Musee d’Orsay / Orangerie Museum, Trocadeo , Champs Elysees and Arc De Triomphe till eve.
Day 3 - Go early morning to Notre Dame Cathedral and stand in the queue for the tower. Can go to Luvre, Palais Royale and Luxombourg gardens as they seem close by for the rest of the day.
Day 4 - Disneyland
Day 5 - bit confused if go to Versailles or explore Paris. Note that Latin Quarters seems exciting to explore and wouldn't have done it.. Will take a call later on this.
Do let me know if the above sounds good! Also, what would be the alternative for Day 4 instead of Versailles? And any ideas for food? good budget places - not fine dining ones.
Thanks everyone once again and look forward to hear from all of you..
