My wife & I will be spending 6 nights in Paris in late September. I have been once when I was a child but my Wife has not.
Aside from visiting the major attractions (less than you would think) we plan on spending our days exploring the neighborhoods, sitting at café’s, shopping for a picnic and lounging eating and drinking wine in the beautiful gardens.
At night, we plan on exploring some of the nightlife such as the jazz clubs and bars in the Latin Quarter and other neighborhoods.
(Posts to follow on all of those)
We plan on spending most of our food/entertainment budget on the above mentioned so we are not set on spending a ton of money on dinner. Although, we are big foodies and want to make the most of it.
We understand that there are a few basic categories of dining options in Paris… Café’s, Bistro’s & restaurants (let me know if I’m missing anything or am wrong). I’m figuring most of the nights we will be dining in Bistro’s and maybe we will save one night for a restaurant dinner.
What would you say a very rough average budget would be for dinner, per person (full meal w/ wine), at a bistro and the same at a restaurant?
