I'd prefer the Diana just from a location standpoint. It's close to the river but also very near the Ile de la Cite which puts you close to Notre Dame and the Louvre and St. Chappelle, etc. And within easy of the Isle St. Louis and the Marais. There are many nice restaurants and cafes within an easy walk of the Diana, just over in the 6th.
I agree with Pjk. It's a better location, especially if this is your first visit to Paris.
There is a Best Western across the street from Hotel Diana, and the street is quieter. I stayed a few days last summer.
It's Best Western La Tour Notre Dame.
Thanks everyone for the feedback!
