Places to go in Paris

Hi Everyone! =D

I did a little research on Paris and I found these places to visit stated below:

1.Notre Dame

2.Ile St Louis

3.Louvre

4.Arc de Triomphe

5.The Avenue des Champs-Élysées and the Tuileries Gardens

6.Seine River (the Vendettes de Pont Neuf boat cruise in the evening)

7.Disneyland

I plan to give about 4 days for these places, so I am just wondering if it is too pack?

I would love some new attractions by you guys if I happen to miss out some wonderful places.

Lastly, if any of those I listed above is not worth visiting, please do let me know!

Thank you all so much! =D

I've just returned from a holiday in Paris and really enjoyed the Sandeman free walking guided tour that leaves from St Michel's square every day at 11am (the guides just work on tips). The 3 hour tour covers items 1-6 of your list, plus they give you lots of historically interesting information about each site, as well as tips for avoiding queues, saving money, etc. In answer to your question, all the sites you have listed are worth visiting - I would also add Montmarte with the funicular railway up to Sacre Couer for magnificent views of Paris.

I think this is doable. Have you booked your flights yet? Do you have 4 full days? the Louvre is closed on Tuesdays, but is open late on Wednesday nights. And I totally agree with Paul - try to add Sacre Coeur and its environs

What about the Eiffel Tower?? Look at Saint Chapelle, Panthenon, Sacre-Coeur.

Your list is not 'too packed' yet, and if you decide on a few more Paris destinations, then you could drop Disneyland (which isn't in Paris actually).

Try choosing these per day:

1 museum

1 garden

1 'walk route'

1 monument

Example:

A. Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, up the Champs Elysees, see Arc de Triomphe

B. Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, walk through Ile St Louis, through Latin Quarter to Jardin de Luxembourg

C. Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars, Rodin museum or Orsay museum

Change this...

3.Louvre

to this ...

3.Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens

Since you step out of one and into the other.

And add to this...

2.Ile St Louis

to make it this ...

2.Ile St Louis and the Marias.

Disneyland is a must for my Mrs. HAHA! =D

Seems like I can tackle all these attractions in 3 days to at most 4 days.

I shall try not to get over excited and pack too many things into a trip.

Thank you! =D

I agree with the above post by Paul who writes "I would also add Montmarte with the funicular railway up to Sacre Couer for magnificent views of Paris." My only suggestion is to go at sunset. It is one of the most beautiful views of Paris you will encounter. Also consider taking the Batobus. Review their web site for specifics. Happy travels!

I was recently at Sacre Couer and intended to use a ticket for the funicular but my tour guide walked us up in a way that you did not feel the steep climb. I was surprised I had climbed up to the top and it was easy. It was the only sunny day and the view was wonderful. The rest of the time, it was cloudy and dreary. It poured, when we left Paris.
