Carnet tickets

I found a carnet for Paris metro.

Don't know how old is it(at least 8 years)

Will it be accepted when I arrive there? Is there a way to find out if it's valid??

Thanks Ahead,

It should still be valid. You'll find out when you test the first ticket in a turnstile. There's nothing shameful about getting a bad buzz. ;-)

As long as it's a ticket t+ (2007 - present) or ticket t (2003 - 2007), it is still valid. But it may be demagnetized, in which case you can exchange it for a new one at a counter for free.

Note that if it's a ticket t (2003-2007), those don't allow bus transfers as the new tickets t+ do.
