Left Luggage

Are there left luggage facilities at RER stations, for example Chatelet-Les-Halles or Gare de Lyon and how much do they cost?

Also traveling from CDG to Eurodisney and hoping to do a bit of sightseeing inbetween. Better getting Zone 1-5 day ticket?

Thanks

There are Left Luggage (Las Consignes) facilities at several SNCF train stations in Paris--

parisinfo.com/guide_paris/…6481

Cost runs anywhere from 3,50-to-7,50 € depending on the size of the luggage.

Given your DLP itinerary, your best bet will be to use the facility at GARE de LYON, which is also a stop for the RER 'A' ligne, between Paris and MarneLa Valee / DLP. You need to be aware that the Les Consignes facility closes at 22:45 (10:45 PM) if you're planning a late departure from DLP. All of these Left Luggage facilities are subject to unexpected closure in the event of an increased VIGIPIRATE security alert.

Depending on the remainder of your proposed Paris itinerary, a Zone 1-2 or Zone 1-3 pass may be all you need. But, the round-trip RER fare between Paris and DLP is 12,50...as opposed to a single-day MOBILIS pass for Zones 1-5--good for unlimited useage of all public transportation--RER. Metro, Bus, etc--is only 12,30€. Check your proposed itinerary against the various pass options and prices to see which suit best.

Thanks for the info. Noticed that both DLP & CDG are in Zone 5 so thought 1-5 ticket would be best. Have time to examine the possibilities and work out best option.

The one day Mobilis pass does NOT cover travel from/to CDG. The one day Zone 1-5 Paris Visite pass costing €16.75 CAN be used both to get from CDG to Paris and from Paris to Marne-la-Vallée.

There are I think left luggage facilities at Disneyland, but if I am understanding you correctly, you intend to do a bit of sightseeing in Paris after arriving at CDG and before going to Disneyland where you will be staying. In that case KDK's suggestion of the Consignes in the mainline station at Gare de Lyon is probably your best option.

If you want to return to Paris for the day while you are staying at Disneyland, the Mobilis pass is your best choice.

Thanks for the info Irish. Yes, intend at moment to do a bit of Paris before going to Disney on the Monday, and again on the Thursday before flying home.
