A short visit to the home of my ancestors

After several decades of thinking about seeing the small village where my ancestors lived many years ago (Rancourt-sur-Ornain), near Revigny, I have finally decided to travel there. I have an airline reservation from New York to Paris, a TGV reservation from Paris to Bar le Duc, and hotel reservations in Revigny. Sadly, I only speak English and Spanish - but not the language of my ancestors. This is embarrassing, and has caused my long delay in traveling to France. I need an English-speaking guide, and at this moment do not have one. I am guessing that very few people in those small towns in Lorraine speak English, but I do not know for certain. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Merci!
