We are planning a canal trip in mid-late September , and are trying to decide among several contenders: Aslace, Aquitane, Camarague, Burgundy, Canal du Midi.
Alsace was originally the group's top choice, but now we are concered that it will be chilly (too chilly to sit on the boat deck in the evenings), and that the flower boxes/scenery will be disappearing. Any insights on the accuracy of these concerns?
So, now we are exploring other areas, including Aquitane. Has anyone done this canal trip in September? Would you recommend?
Thank you for any help.
