Our experience with Battlebus Tours was EXCELLENT. They have one and two day tours that go to all the American landing sites. Easy to work with, interesting beyond words - it is a memorable experience.

I agree with Battlebus. If you stay at Tardif ( Isaw your other post) beware their directions to the pickup point, as they were hopelessly vague for us. Scout it out a day ahead of time. Enjoy Bayeux! I'd love to return!

Another vote for Battlebus. We did the one day American tour in June and thought it was fantastic. We stayed at the Hotel Churchill, which is really convenient as the tours depart from the edge of the hotels parking lot.

Bayeux has one cental pickup point (Place de Quebec) for all tours. With Battlebus they will drop you off at or very near your hotel at the end of the day. Our guide, Julian, even packed our luggage into the van and dropped us off at the train station - he is wonderful, if you are lucky enough to tour with him. Battlebus has a map (link below) that shows Place de Quebec and hotel locations. From Argouges it is an easy 10 minute walk.
