Dinner in Bayeux this Saturday night

Hello, my husband I will be riding the ferry over from Portsmouth this Saturday and only have one day in Bayeux. We intend to see Omaha beach and the D-Day tours during the day, but what do you recommend for dinner? I understand a lot of the restaurants are closed in the winter, so was hoping for suggestions from locals who would know if the restaurant was open for certain.

Thanks in advance!

Near the Fringale are the Drakkar, Rapière, Il Ballagio.

Near the cathedral are Le POmmier, L'assiette normande, and l'Acroche

I would choose L'Assiette Normande or La Rapiere, depending on budget (La Rapiere being more expensive but not excessive). If closed, try Le Pommier, which is definitely open at this time of year.

The Pommier is 0033 2.31.21.52.10

La Rapiere is 0033 2.31.21.05.45

L'Assiette Normande is 0033 2.31.22.04.61

Thank you for all of the recs everyone! We actually did try L'Assiete Normande (sp?) for lunch one day as the owner of our B&B advised we try it. Unfortunately we did not enjoy this meal at all, and concur it was not fresh.

We did have dinner at La Fringale - and what an experience! The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal! We even went for drinks afterwards with Franc and Cyril!
