e.lecerc parking

anybody know is there anywhere at leclerc in tourville that you can park your motorhome to shop. we were hoping to pick up some wine on the way to the ferry but there doesn't seem to be any access for motorhomes to shop. If not, any advice please with easy parking to shop for wine for motor home around cherbourg . we are not wine buffs just looking for reasonably priced wine. many thanks

You could try Intermarche Super on Rue de Grand Pré (49.639251, -1.595511) which doesn't have barrier problems.

We've had similar situations with our Motorhome but, like the French we just park up on other firms/businesses car parks, and there are plenty near E.Leclerc, and take pot-luck.

Hope you've had a good holidy.

Thanks for the advice Keith that's perfect. We've been in France before in a car but first time in a motor home so a bit nervous about heights and roads. Thank God for trip advisor and Google maps.

"but first time in a motor home"

and last too hopefully. I wish someone would ban these vehicles which create havoc on the roads. Gripe over.

Gripe as much as you like but they also put a vast amount of money into the French economy that benefit all the residents of France.

The majority of drivers of Motorhomes from across Europe who visit France are considerably better, more courteous and safer drivers than the 'havoc' caused by the local driving populace..
