Places to visit not too far from Honfleur

We will be spending a week close to Honfleur in June and would like days out suggestions please, we are looking at a cider route and maybe Fecamp to the Benedictine Distillery. We like quaint villages, gardens and would like a boat trip somewhere. Any suggestions please?

Fecamp is a good place to visit. You can go to Etretat on the same day, that has three impressive needles of chalk with 300ft high cliffs.

Rouen, Jumièges, Chateau Gaillard;

Deuville / Trouville, Lisieux,

Caen, Bayezux,

Rather than follow the cider route, which is just a circuit that takes you around to different cider makers, visit Beuvron en Auge, which is one of the most picturesque villages. You could visit Huet cider and distilery at Cambremer.

Near Cambremer at

N 49.141283 E 0.061990

thre's a giant clock face on a half timbered house. It was the stage coach stop.

you can take a boat trip from Honfleur into the Seine estuary

Between Honfleur and Rouen there are 9 ferries that are free.

if you are into markets, why not try the sunday market at trouville sur mer, all along the river side, also a good fish market too, great for fish..also,its not far over the river to deauville...worth a walk around.both have good beaches ..good one on the beach at trouville, but for the life of me, cannot remember the name..
