What to do on Sunday

We plan to be in Aix arriving Saturday midday and departing early Monday morning to Marseille for our flight home. What will there be to do in the area on Sunday? We will have been in Provence for two weeks but have to vacate our villa in St. Remy on Saturday. We are wondering if it is worth the move to Aix for this small window if everything will be closed. We do not want to "mark time" somewhere until our flight home. Thank you so muc for any suggestions.

Shops will be open Saturday of your arrival so you can do your last minute shopping. I think produce market is open in Aix on a Sunday. I checked the website for the Cezanne Museum and that appears open on Sundays. Restaurants will be open and you could spend the time just hanging out.

There is a small flower market on Sunday mornings in Aix and sometimes a craft market too . A few of the larger stores are open. Aix is a lovely town to just chill out in but you could always drive to the coast for the day - say Cassis, or Bandol. Chateau La Coste is just outside Aix and is well worth visiting.
