Best Bus lines from Cagnes sur Mer to various destinations

We are here next week and are travelling by public transport once we arrive. I have looked at the bus routes and there are so many I thought I would check here.

What are the recommended bus lines for a day in Monaco - with stops on on the way.

Bus line to Cannes, Eze and any other recommended places anlong the coast (and bus routes)

Would also travel by train if it's better/quicker - what's your thoughts

Thanks so much!

From Cagnes sur Mer I would advise taking the train for any trips along the coast e.g to Cannes, Antibes, Nice, Villefranche or Monaco. Fares are cheap altho a bit dearer than the bus ( the latter a flat 1 euro). You can also get a 12 euro day pass for trains ( Pass Isabelle). The 200 bus goes from Nice and Cagnes to Antbes and Cannes but is crowded, slow and hot. Anyway buses do not run though Nice to Monaco - you have to change in Nice.

For the inland hill village of St Paul de Vence you will need to take the bus from Cagnes - 400. For Eze village you will need the 112 from Nice.

anibes, cannes, monaco, menton etc - take the train

bus to antibes is doable but train is easier

Going to Nice I would take the bus from cagnes sur mer- ie bus numbers

200, 400, 500 and 94 as there are far more options for bus rather than train [till about 8pm] and the route is more scenic as you take the promenade des anglais -

sit on right hand side of bus

either bus 400 or 94 to vence but only bus 400 to st paul de vence

bus 500 Villeneuve-Loubet village or grasse

for

Biot or valbonne- take bus 200 to Biot gare stop then bus number 10 to biot village or valbonne

Eze village either take bus 82 or 112 from Nice vauban or bus 83 from Eze bord de mer train station - bus 83 from Eze bord de mer is easiest option from cagnes

bus 83 timetable

nb if planning to stay late in antibes, cannes monaco etc note that there are ongoing extensive lineworks on the trainlines meaning that many of the late trains are cancelled between cannes and antibes -so make sure you check before assuming you will be able to get back around midnight going by the yearlong table

get info on the alterations at link below here or at the station
