Trainstrike wednesday 9th october

There will be serious disruption to trains in the PACA region tomorrow [9th october] - strike timetables come into force from 7pm on the 8th to 8am on the 10th

TER PACA and intercities trains are mainly affected , plus no night trains

TGVs should be ok as far as current info is concerned

full strike timetables here - with details of substitute buses [where available]

Got my TGV from Nice to Paris on Wednesday. Not affected by any strike. So I couldn't use that as an excuse <not> to go back to work on Thursday. I was hoping for a few more days away....

Hi SelkieNice - I just saw your post re the train strike last Wednesday. Wish I had seen it before. That was the day that we decided to do the Blue Coast Train. All went well on the way to Miramas, but we decided to stop off at Sausset le Pin on the way back. We had a lovely walk around, but were then "stuck" at the station with no trains - until a very nice French lady came to our rescue and guided us back to Martigues to get the bus back to St. Charles.

A very good lesson for me to log onto this forum every day !!!
