Our daughter is working in Chamonix this summer and so we are flying from Vancouver to Geneva to visit her. Planning around her days off and hoping to get a holiday to ourself.... this is our initial plan. We also want to avoid one way car-drop charges.
- Spend first two nights in Chamonix with a car visiting our daughter
- return car to Geneva airport and fly to Nice
- spend approx 3 or 4 nights near Nice...possibly Menton or Villefranche sur Mer (combination of train and bus to explore the area. Possibly rent a car for one day.
- train from Nice to Marseilles, rent car in Marseilles Airport and then stay 4 nights in Arles or Nimes
-return car to Marseilles and fly to Barcelona
-rent car in Barcelona and stay four nights in Llafranc
-return car to Barcelona and fly back to Geneva
-last two nights in Chamonix with our daughter
-return to Geneva and fly home to Vancouver
Thoughts? Any suggestions appreciated.
