Full day in Antibes/Juan Les Pins - what to do?

I have 4 days on the Riviera and plan to come to Antibes and Juan Les Pins by Bus 200 one day next week from Cannes.

my 2 young kids will be along.

I would appreciate helping me plan a full day in the region please (which includes beach time!)

What is the best way to get from Beaulieu to Juan Les Pins as well please?

Thanks

Get off the 200 at Dugrommier stop and walk across the big square Place de Gaulle ( the Tourist office is here and you can get a map) then take the Rue de la Republique walking street straight into the Old Town.

I won't go into the little streets here but you will be within 15 minutes stroll of all or any of which takes your fancy...

The cliff top Ramparts ( leading to the western beaches ).

The town beach La Gravette.

The Picasso museum

50 plus Restaurants.

Children's Playgrounds

Stupendus megayachts.

The Cathedral

The Provecal Market (Food morning only - npot Monday except July and August)

On Thursdays a mainly clothing Market that takes up 3 areas - the big one is Rue Lacan

Is Cap D'Antibes worth a trip out to on this day?

There are excellent public beaches in JLP. If you take the petit train you will get dropped off in the centre of JLP. Walk in the direction of Golfe Juan and you will find them. They can get crowded. Because they slope gently out to the sea (and the sea is usually very calm) they are excellent for children.

Excellent! One of our "rules" of the trip is minimum 2hr beach time every day :-)

So looks like I get 200 into Antibes, explore some, then as it heats up get the little train into JLP and find one of these lovely sand beaches to picnic and chill-out.

Are there any nice cliff-top/coastal walks or am I better waiting for Beaulieu/Villefranche for these?

Wigwam

The 200 to Antibes, then a wander round the old town, marina, market and then the Petit train to JLP is a good plan.

Or you could take bus number 2A from Antibes. It will drop you at the tip of the Cap d'Antibes by the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc. From there, iif you want to enjoy a coastal walk, into Juan Les Pins, just keep the sea on your left and you will reach the start of Juan Les Pins after 30 minutes or so passing several several small sandyish coves and Port Gallice en route.

The best beaches in JLP start after the Casino.
