Train to Antibes

We would like to visit Antibes, explore Antibes and then take a bus to Renoir's home in Haut des Cagnes. It looks like the fastest option is to take a train from Nice to Antibes then pick up the #200 bus in Antibes to Haut des Cagnes then either take the bus back to Nice or back to Antibes and get the train back. Does this sound reasonable? I am open to other suggestions? Thanks!

Or you could get the train from Antibes to Cagnes sur Mer and then the bus to Haut de Cagnes, then the train from Cagnes sur Mer to Nice.

Train is the fastest option for Antibes

the closest train station for haut de cagnes is the Cagnes sur mer station however you are probably just as well taking the bus from Antibes - though there are times when traffic is bad

The 200 goes from Nice to cannes and vice versa via via cagnes sur mer but not haut de cagnes.

However if you are taking the 200 bus from Antibes and want to go to haut de cagnes get off at Square Bourdet.

Haut de cagnes is a perched mediaeval village so only the free shuttle bus is allowed up there.

the free shuttle is number 44 bus from square Bourdet

HOWEVER Renoir's house. Musee renoir isn't in haut de cagnes its at 19, Chemin des Collettes, Cagnes-sur-Mer

You can walk or take bus number 49 from square bourdet to the musee renoir [5 stops]

Take the bus back to Nice from square bourdet rather than walking to cagnes train station as its a fair walk

- 15 mins

There is no need to go back to Antibes

hope this helps
