taxi or bus

We are arriving on Monday afternoon (3:20 pm) in JUly 2010 and does anyone know if we can get a taxi for 4 plus luggage to take us to our apartment at Promenade des anglais, near rue de france??? How much it will cost?? Would do the bus but because of time a little concerned not knowing area.???

Thanks for any help you can give.

I hope you do not have too much luggages or that will be 2 taxi

Bus is normally VERY easy and stops at a number of places on Promenade des Anglais. However, in July and mid-afternoon the buses can be VERY busy and you will be probably squashed and standing (is that a problem for anyone in your group or after a long journey?).

For 4, a taxi is not really that expensive provided all of you and your luggage get into one taxi (they are fairly large). We used a taxi on our first trip and then buses for our further trips.
