Do buses run from Monaco to Nice on Saturdays and where do you pick them up from. We are on a cruise and are on a schedule.
Yes buses run on a Saturday. The journey usually takes about 50 mins, but there's a lot of road work on at the moment and it can take up to 1h30 if the traffic is heavy.
There's a map showing bus stops, railway station entrances and paths here:
bus 100 goes along the coast past Beaulieu, villefranche etc to Nice
bus 112 goes via Eze village [if you gte off in Eze village fior a couple of hoours take bus 112 or 82 onwards to nice]
train or bus 100 back to monaco
Thank you that is very useful information. Is it worthwhile stopping off at Eze village? what can you do and see there? and how long until the next bus leaves the village to travel to Nice?
Eze village - perched mediaeval village, mazing views from jardin exotique - nb very steep slopes/slippery cobbles so not recommended if you have walking difficulties
Eze village info here
112 bus timetable - monaco- eze village
eze village- nice
Thank you all very much for your replies, this makes it so much easier knowing which bus to get.
