A few questions...

Hi my partner and I arrive in Nice on 23rd June around 3pm. What's the best way to get from the airport to the Ibis Centre Gare? We are staying for 3 nights... would like to do a day trip to Monaco and Antibes is it best to bus or train? Where do you catch the bus or train and approx how much? Is that enough? Or is there anything else we must see? Appreciate your help!

Your hotel is a short walk from the main train station Nice Gare Ville. The easiest way from the airport is the express coach number 99 which goes to the railway station, costs 4 euro (pay on bus) which ticket includes free tram and local bus travel for the rest of the day. The alternating express no. 98 goes to the Nice bus station and leaves you quite a walk through the town to your hotel.

Monaco is an easy bus trip route 100 starting from the JC Bermond terminus near the old Bus Station on Bd.Jean Jaures, one euro each way.

Antibes is served by the 200 bus, also one euro, but the build up of traffic is such that its better done by train (near your hotel) 4 euro each way.

Other highlights are Eze Village, which you can combine with your Monaco if you juggle the buses - 82 Nice - Eze Village - 112 -Eze - Monaco and maybe return to Nice by train or the 100 bus.

Three days is just enough time to explore Nice itself and the excursions you have chosen but the list of other things you could do and see would be very long.

I'd advise you to do Monaco first when you have energy in the morning. Antibes is easier walking than Monaco.

The day bus pass for monaco cost 3 euros and saves walking and allows access to the bateau bus across the port hercule, which is worth doing anyway as you get a different view of monaco from the water

Thankyou for the advice. Since we arrive at 3pm we will spend that day in Nice. Was thinking we would do Monarco the next day and Antibes the next. Do you recommend doing both in one day and having our final day in Nice?

Also, is the Nice Ville train station also where you catch the TGV train to Paris?

yes, I would do antibes and Monaco on the same day and save the full day for Nice since you have such a short time here.

Nice ville station is the station for TGvs to Paris
