This is high season and you will pay a premium for your apartment in the city centre.

Try www.go-nice.com or holidaylettings.co.uk or

ownersdirect.co.uk/france-provence-alpes-cot…

I thinke the Carré d'Or region is a good choice as it is close to the city centre yet not as noisy as the old town.

Cool Thks Arthur ;)

have found an (affordable) apartment at the end of Rue De France, where it turns into Ave California. The nearest beach is Florida Plage which is across the road?

Is that walkable to Carré d'Or area?

Bojangles,

I have stayed in your area before and it is about a 30 minute walk to the city centre....the area is fine and is well served by buses especially 9 and 10 to the city centre and the 12/23 in the direction of the train station. The Noctambus N4 serves the area at night. A map and description of the Carré d'Or can be found here:

the end of rue de france/californie is not very central = it's normal if it's not expensive

you will have to walk a lot or take bus

why not

the end of rue de france is not a dirty/dangerous area, you can go and you will be next to the sea
