Apartment rentals for 2 days in June?

We are traveling through Nice June 15 and are looking

for an apartment preferably near Old Town for 2 nights.

We found a nice apartment available through Housetrip.

After reading many postings about this company I am leary

about making the booking. All the other apartment rental companies

seem to only rent by the week. Can you recommend anything?

For 2 nights I'd just stay in a hotel. It will be much easier - no damage deposit or cleaning fees to worry about. And, as you've found out most apartments rent by the week.

In June, apartment owners have no difficulty in getting week-long rentals. Not many would be interested in a 2-night rental.

Apartment rentals in France (particularly in season) are 7 days....(Saturday to Saturday)....look for a B&B or a hotel.

You may find an aparthotel that will do a 2 night rental in June, somewhere like the Citadines Promenade for example.

As you've already discovered the majority of privately owned apartments will be rentable only for longer stays -be that via the owner direct, or an agent and not always but often Saturday to Saturday

Thank you everyone for your quick reply!

We prefer an apartment or B B over a hotel.

I will look into the sites you suggested. Is this

considered a busy time of year as I thought

July and August would be high season.

May (Cannes Film Festival & F1 in Monaco) June and September are still busy, though less so than in July and August.

Nice will be busy in June. The Promenade will be packed every evening and you will need to reserve for dinner in advance. It is a great time to visit: lovely and warm with daylight until 10:00 p.m. or thereabouts. For just two nights, you could find a nice hotel or a B&B, and not bother with an apartment, assuming you could find one for such a brief stay.

I've never reserved a restaurant in late June or early July and have still always managed to eat.
